Dietitians are skilled at “Medical Nutrition Therapy” this involved tailoring nutrition advice to your specific medical conditions and individual needs.

Dietitians take the WHOLE person into account, looking at  everything from your: blood work and medications, to your sleep and energy levels.

What to expect from your first appointment (Initial Assessment)...

Your dietitian will ask you lots and lots of question about your eating habits, your work hours and add this to any blood test results and information from your doctor.

From all this information, you dietitian will talk to you about your GOALS, making sure they are specific and realistic.

Next up you will work together to come up with a detailed, step by step PLAN to achieve your goals.

This process results in highly individualised advice and care.

What to bring to your first appointment:

  • Any recent blood test results (or ask your doc to fax them through)

  • The names of your medications (take pictures on your phone!)

  • Names or pics of any vitamins or supplements you are taking

  • Any questions (it's easy to forget once you're in the appointment)
